Eleven writers have teamed up to produce a new book called Tales from the Vicarage, a collection of work inspired by Watford FC , and if supporters order their copy before tomorrow night, delivery will be free.

The writers include former Watford and England goalkeeper David James , authors, journalists from national newspapers and television and former Watford Observer staffers, including long-serving sports editor Oliver Phillips.

They all have one thing in common – an affinity with the Hornets.

Each piece has been written specially for the book. This is the first volume of Tales from the Vicarage and plans are already in place to make the series an annual.

A wide variety of Hornets-related subjects are covered meaning there's something for everyone.
