Former Watford defender Robert Page has taken the plunge into management and will be unveiled as the new AFC Wimbledon boss in the next 24 hours, it has been reported.
The former Sheffield United, Cardiff City, Coventry City, Huddersfield Town and Chesterfield defender will be appointed before he is presented to fans tomorrow night, according to the Hounslow Chronicle.
The paper also claims the 38-year-old was picked ahead of former Watford defender Neal Ardley and caretaker boss Simon Bassey.
The Welshman has been working as a coach at Port Vale.
