Watford's on-loan Udinese defender Neuton suffers ankle injury in training

Watford are continuing to assess Neuton after the defender was injured in training yesterday.
It has been confirmed the Brazilian has twisted his ankle but it is early days and the extent of the problem is still being assessed.
The 22-year-old, who has started Watford’s last six matches, left training on crutches with his ankle strapped as a precautionary measure.
It is not yet known whether Neuton will be fit to face Peterborough United on Saturday but if he is ruled out, it may open the door for Nyron Nosworthy to return to the team.
The defender has missed the Hornets’ previous three games but has played twice for Jamaica since Friday, scoring his first international goal in last night’s 4-1 win over Antigua & Barbuda.
Along with Cristian Battochio, who played for Italy Under-20s on Saturday, Gianfranco Zola was pleased to see Nosworthy back in action, but admitted the circumstances of his return were not ideal.
“It’s good because Nyron was out for three games and needed to get back and also Cristian,” Zola said yesterday. “The fact that they went and played for their international team has helped them, although for Nyron obviously he’s played two games away, has got a long journey back and jet leg and everything and it’s not ideal for him but for Christian Battochio it’s been very good.”
Asked whether Nosworthy would be considered for Saturday – and speaking before news of Neuton’s injury – Zola said: “I will think about that and consider just before the match because I need to see his condition.”

8 homegrown in squad so we don't break rules, cover for goalie, right and left wing back, centre half, midfield and striker on bench, well balanced team and support crew
Interesting that even the fans starting 11 are nearly the same now bar one or two players, so even we are nearing our strongest team :-). GFZ too ??
With Eustace, Buaben, McGinn, Doyley, Hodson, Beleck, Facchone, Mbia, Anya, Neuton, Smith, Yeates, Thompson, Forsyth, Iwelumo AS BACK UPS .....
NICE FEELING !

Goalkeepers are overated, keep it in their half and they arent needed. 6 at back and dont let them have a shot. The other 5 up front as high up as can be to put it in the bread bin.
