A new snooker based football game will be opened at a Watford park this weekend.
The "Street Snooker" pitch will be officially opened at the King George V Playing Fields in Tolpits Lane on Saturday 15 December.
The game involves a three metre high wall, decorated to look like a snooker table, and can be used by footballers to improve their skills and get their big break in the sport.
The opening event will take place between 11am and 2pm, where mayor of Watford Dorothy Thornhill will be awarding prizes and trophies to players.
Whoever is the top scorer by 2pm will win a trophy and two VIP tickets to the Masters Snooker final at Alexandra Palace in January.
Marco Boi, creator of Street Snooker, said: "Watford is my hometown, so it’s really exciting for me to be launching our new game here.
"I hope lots of people will come and join us this weekend. The top break is currently 135 - let’s try and beat that."
