Here's your update to kick off the working week.

Weather

Today will be a bit of a wash-out as the sun is heading back behind the clouds and rain is expected from around 3pm for the rest of the day.

It will also be a little colder than recent days, with highs of 16C.

Tube and train

The London Overground is part  suspended ebtween Romford and Upminster due to a faulty train, but all other tube lines are working with a good service.

London Bridge station has reopened following the attack on Saturday, though there are road closures still in place in the area, and there is limited walking access over the bridge itself.

Some Thameslink trains are being delayed or cancellled until 9am due to a signalling fault at Blackfriars, so the service between here and Bedford is disrupted. Check before you travel on this line.

On London Midland, trains leaving at five minutes past the hour into Euston from Watford Junction and Harrow and Wealdstone will be made up of fewer carriages than expected. Check before you travel.

Trains on East Midlands and Southern are working with a good service.

Traffic

There are severe delays on the M25 anticlockwise between J20 A4251 and J18 A404, Rickmansworth Road.

There are also delays on the A1 Barnet Bypass up towards the Stirling Corner roundabout, with a waiting time of around 10 minutes.

There are severe delays on the A406 Pinkham Way westbound at New Southgate, along with other delays increasing further east on the North Circular at the A1 junction.
