An illegal rave was called off last night by police after following a tip-off.
More than 700 people were gathered in a disused warehouse in St Albans before it was shut down by officers from Hertfordshire Constabulary at 4am this morning.
Police were in attendance at the St Albans City Train Station and Campfield Road as they were advised that a large group of people would be going to the rave.
They advised via their Facebook page that officers remained in the area to monitor the situation.
