A yellow weather warning for wind has been issued across the east of England – including Hertfordshire and London.
According to the Met Office, a spell of strong southwesterly wind is expected between 4am and midnight on Saturday.
Gusts exceeding 50 mph are expected across the east and south west of England, with gusts of around 70 mph predicted in coastal areas.
Transport could be disrupted during the day, while warnings of power cuts have also been issued.
