People in Hertfordshire woke up on Sunday morning to views of snow blanketing their gardens and cars.
Despite freezing temperatures and slippery pathways, it was the perfect opportunity for hundreds of people to grab their sledges and make the most of the snow.
Peter Wares, of Ramsbury Road, St Albans, took pictures of people building snowmen in nearby streets.
Peter Hyde captured a festive-looking St Leonard’s Church, in Sandridge.
Kim Burton and Ricky Barnett also took pictures during their explorations around the city throughout the day.
