Friends and family paid tribute to a young couple who died after going missing on Halloween night as November began.
Charlie Eccleston, 19, and Zaiga Gravenieks, 20, were reported missing after going missing from Shenley. Police believed they were in the London Colney area on their way to a Halloween party.
A memorial to a record goalscorer was finally put up. Wilfred ‘Billy’ Minter, who scored 356 goals in 362 games for St Albans City, has now been given an official headstone. It comes following a long campaign by fans, who collected almost £2,700 towards the memorial.
