Bringing a little light relief from the New Year blues is comedian Chris Norton Walker, as he presents his stand-up show YEAH!, at the Maltings Arts Theatre on Saturday January 13.

Born and bred in St Albans, Chris has been performing comedy since 2010, gracing the stages of comedy venues across the globe, including The Comedy Store in LA. He has performed at well-known comedy festivals all over the UK, including Edinburgh, Leicester, Hasting and Bath.

Chris has also appeared in numerous time on TV including Adverts (Land Rover, Late Rooms and BT Sport) and TV shows including Take Me Out, Crackanory, Eastenders, Count Arthur Strong and many more.

After touring his critically-acclaimed show around the UK in 2017, Chris brings Yeah! to his home city for one night only, before heading to the Edinburgh Fringe with the show later on in the year.

Filled with almost 300 gags, it is an hour of one liners, jokes, puns, gags and wordplay.

Chris said: “I’ve been having a lot of fun taking this show around the country - and I now can’t wait to bring it home. I’m so excited - it’s going to be so much fun.”

Chris will be supported by actress, comedian, musician and writer Katie Pritchard. She has won Hilarity Bites New Act of the Year 2016 award, and been finalist for the Musical Comedy Awards 2017 and a runner up in Stand Up For Cider 2016, Max Turner Prize for New Comedians 2015, and celebrated in Funny Women ‘One To Watch 2016’.
