Owners of a “highly regarded” Thai restaurant in an historic area of the city are seeking a new buyer who might want the space.
The popular Pin Petch restaurant in St Albans has been put on the market by property agent, Christie & Co in hopes of finding a new owner.
The space is located just off the St Albans high street in an area described by Christie & Co as “thriving and affluent”.
The split-level business has a glass frontage and contemporary style throughout with space for 50 covers. There is also a bar and well-equipped commercial kitchen.
Currently, Pin Petch trades six days a week, but Christie say there is “scope” for expansion of hours or style changes, adding that the restaurant has been steadily refurbished over the years.
Current owner, Mr Siriwat, said: “St Albans is a great place to trade as a restaurant. We have been busy since we first took over due to its great location near the cathedral.”
Business agent at Christie & Co, Tim Widdows, said: “Pin Petch is a highly regarded restaurant with a very loyal customer base, benefitting from regular repeat custom as well as tourists visiting the city.
“This is a great opportunity and we expect interest from those who may wish to continue trading the business as it is or introduce a new concept to the city.”
