St Albans & Harpenden Review:

Kiko Smart Hydrating Foundation

So far, this has been a great everyday foundation. The coverage is fairly light, which is great for a natural look which is easy to apply. My makeup still looks the same in evening after a full day of wearing it, which is what you want from a foundation.

I love that this foundation moisturises my skin at the same time, as I suffer with dry skin - especially in the winter. My skin can still breathe with the light coverage and always feels very smooth when wearing it.

However I don’t think it would be suitable for the evening due to its light coverage and satin finish - especially if you are having photos taken.

Overall, for the price of the product (it was only £5.90) I would recommend it for a low budget everyday foundation, which takes seconds to apply for a smooth and even finish.

Kiko Skin Tone Concealer

I personally, love this concealer and find it very easy to use. It blends in well and has great coverage.

I have experimented with a variety of ways to use the concealer; all in all it didn't matter how I put it on, or what I used to put it on, it gave consistent coverage.

This concealer was another bargain at £5.90 - this makes it great for everyday use. I am not sure if this would be the best choice of product for an evening look, although it has good coverage it gives quite a satin finish. Personally, I would be after more of a matte finish in an evening look - but hey that's just personal preference.

Kiko Free Soul Peel Off Brow

This peel off brow product, is similar to having your eyebrows tinted, although it only lasts one or two days. The application is nice and easy, you just paint it on over your eyebrows, let it dry for 15-20 minutes and then peel it off.

I had a bit of trouble peeling it off, which I then read that it is easier to brush it off using an eyebrow brush. I will try it out with that next time.

Overall the colour, is OK. There are only three colours to choose from and I feel I would have been better with a colour in between the ones available. I was a bit too afraid of how dark the next colour was in its liquid form, but it probably would have been a better suited colour.

I don't think I would buy this product again, mainly because the colour didn't add much to my original eyebrow colour, but that is my personal preference.

You may try the product and absolutely love it!
