An air ambulance has been called to a “serious” crash on the M25.
The incident involves a single vehicle and happened just after 7.30am this morning.
The M25 is shut between j17 and 18 clockwise and there are long delays in both directions. Clockwise, queues are back to the M40.
Some drivers have been able to turn around and leave the motorway while others have reported being stuck in queues for two hours and have been told to switch their engines off.
