MORE than 60,000 people gathered at Bhaktivedanta Manor in Letchmore Heath on Tuesday to celebrate Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna. Preparations for the huge festival at the house start a month beforehand so that free food can be provided for the thousands of visitors.
