Hearing dogs for deaf people

In this video profoundly Deaf Liz Arendt, the founder of the Hertfordshire branch Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, demonstrates just how helpful her hearing dog Maple is. At home Liz is totally dependant on Maple who alerts her to everday sounds including the trill of the telephone, the buzz of the cooker timer and the ring of the doorbell.
