''WEEK 1!''

The monitors arrived a few days before starting the English Camp, and they instantly fitted in to our normal family routine.

They are the most charming people I have ever met, and I just love to see them joke around (at home that is) because at the English Camp they act like responsible adults; and they better!

''DAY 1'' - On the first day, Amy (one of the monitors) was feeling nervous. Even so, she bonded instantly with the children.

Every time I ask a child which one they prefer – it’s always someone different than the last person that said it.

''DAY 2'' - Alex told me that when he came here he didn’t think that the children would like him - well he was wrong! All the kids love him (specially the girls; who say he looks like Zac Efron!) Today we played dozens of games (whilst learning English of course). And the children even got to make their own passport!

Because it’s Sam’s birthday everyone sang the Happy Birthday song (in English that is).

''DAY 3'' - Today Amy and Hannah have started to show the children some dance steps! Meanwhile Charlotte and Alex dressed up as policemen!

Jenny answered some questions for us: She lives in Buckinghamshire and came all the way to Spain to help Clare because she does OWTS every summer in Watford, and loves children (especially Clare’s). When asked that what was the best part of the Camp; she said that all the guys are happy.

This very evening the monitors have started Spanish lessons (let's wish them luck!) DAY 4 Last day of the week and all of our poor English monitors are already anxious for a break from so much stress!

So we started off with some sports (bench ball, etc) and we went on to a movie of the children's choice.

At the end we stayed for one extra hour for a picnic with all the kids. Mmm...
