Well Christmas is over, the snow has gone, so now I am looking forward to Spring !! and booking holidays hopefully. But where to go , seems to be a major problem in our house !!! Spain – been there done that, cruise – been there done that – i am fancying Greece !! USA , Canada, the list is endless I know, but still a major decision, Then I think to myself oh blow it , I will just sit in the Garden and put my feet in the paddling pool !!! Cocktail glass in hand !
Now onto massage – my favourite subject, something which I am passionate about – I am still running a studio from my home, and I also work from a studio in Queens Road, I do various hours, often to suit people. Read on , and this may make you ring me now !!
Massage is a natural human response that has been gradually developed; since the time of the great ancient civilizations, throughout myriad generations, until turn it into the contemporary sophisticated therapeutic art and science.
The practice dates back to three millennia at least and was performed in China, India, Japan, Mesopotamia Egypt, Rome and Greece, among many others. The modern knowledge has been originated in Sweden in the 19th century. Today, there are available a variety of styles, including Eastern and Western methods, ancient and modern techniques, and pure or combined forms.
As a methodical manual application of pressure and movement to the soft tissue of the skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments; massages get curing by encouraging the flow of blood and lymph, alleviating tension, stimulating nerves, and loosening or stretching muscles and connective tissue to maintain them flexible. In general, massage can concern the entire body, but it has a major influence in the activity of the musculoskeletal, circulatory, lymphatic, and nervous systems.
Massage is helpful before physical exercise, facilitating blood circulation to assist the muscles to warm up. It is also helpful after workout, reducing waste elements -like carbonic acid or lactic- that appear in muscles and cause contractions and aches.
Massage augments the immunological resistance and assists to recovery from soft tissue injuries by incrementing blood flow to damaged zones. Recent investigations indicate that massage can control the levels of blood pressure, too.
Hows it going ?? bit too much information ??? thought I would just remind you what a massage actually is and what it does. Basically it helps with – reducing psychological stress, improves attention, relaxes in stress situations, reduces disquiet, diminishes body pain, reduces discomfort during pregnancy, aid sleep, boots tone function of skin and muscles.
So I can relax you, tone you,de stress you, and basically give you a fantastic treatment which will benefit you the more you have. www.prosperityone.co.uk is my website.
I am also looking to change the name of my website – so iam looking for ideas – preferably with massage in the title ! help Just a note to add on the end of this blog - I massaged lots of 'runners' yesterday ( Sunday ) at the Watford fun run, was great fun, and I met a lot of interesting people - the only bad point during the whole day was when TWO runners had their massage, and went off without paying me !!!! it was only a fiver !! they said they had to go and get their bags !!!! I must say, I do think that is so out of order !!! and makes me feel like not bothering again to be honest !! what makes people so unpleasant !! i wasnt exactly asking them for a fortune, unforgiveable i call it. So you two runners, you know who you are !!!! be ashamed, very ashamed.
