Believing in the fairy story of Susan Boyle

Susan Boyle is a true life fairy story, why can’t we rejoice in the fact instead of trying to knock it? Why do we have to build things up to knock them down? Why can’t we applaud ourselves for being a nation that allows a TV programme to take a 47 year old virgin out of her home she shares with her cat and turn her into a world wide superstar? What is wrong with that? After all she does have talent, she can sing in tune.

Pot kills de facto; and if you don’t believe me there is a whole graveyard of my friends out there that started smoking cannabis as teenagers but never made it to middle age. Ok it wasn’t the pot the killed them, it was moving on to Class A drugs to get the better high because they couldn’t get the same thrill from their cannabis anymore. Before you say it, I won’t be moved by the argument that cannabis is no worse than cigarettes or alcohol. I believe very strongly it is.
