The God Removal: Any old storyline will do

The God Removal I went a couple of weeks ago to see the West End musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. My wife and I were treating our eldest daughter with an evening of top-class entertainment involving Gareth Gates and the colourful re-telling of a timeless Bible story. All in all, it was a good show and a fun evening out.

Scrutiny, anyone?

I agree with many who have expressed dismay at the last few weeks’ revelations about MPs’ expenses. The apparently flagrant misuse of public funds have uncovered a failed system and in some cases a ‘get away with whatever you can’ attitude amongst our national leaders.

Jesus hates religion too

It is not uncommon, when people find out my vocation as a church leader, for people to make it clear to me: ‘I’m not very religious.’ Many say it like an apology, as if to remark: ‘I am not sure how to relate to you and I'm sorry I don’t go to church...' as if I would look down on them. But I don't.
