Holywell Art Unveiling & Vandalism
Posted on 2:12pm Wednesday 12th October 2011
On Friday, I will be visiting Croxley View (where we have undertaken work to improve the look of the area), for the unveiling of an incredible piece of artwork that Katie Kennedy, Oliver Matthews and Jade Spires designed. They are students at West Herts College and winners of a competition for the best design piece. I am not sure who will be more nervous them or me.

Money, Work and Fuel
Posted on 3:00pm Friday 7th October 2011
What controversial topics these are are…………..you either just love them or hate them. The money side of it I love – so challenging …….I think it comes from my childhood when I would purchase everything I could travelling around the Monopoly Board. Unfortunately, I have had to grow up as we all do and now I realise that life isn’t just like this and a more realistic approach has to be taken.

Our 4th Birthday & AGM Event
Posted on 2:41pm Friday 16th September 2011
I had such a blast on Wednesday, what a day it was. It all started with a visit to our offices by the Community Gateway Association, RCT Homes, Greenfields Community Housing and Phoenix Housing Association. Lunch was provided in the Board Rooms for our guests it was really yummy I can tell you. I am quite partial to a bit of chilli and rice and the vegetable curry and naan bread was really good too. Of course, you can’t finish lunch without a few calories and there were some really super duper desserts but I went for the healthy option of water melon. I have to watch my waistline or I will end up a tubby Trusty.

Our 4th Birthday Event This is the start of a very exciting few days.........I just love birthdays and on 10th September it will be our 4th Birthday so to celebrate this morning, I helped blow out the candles on our birthday cake. The theme was based on our first Social Enterprise project – the “Green Canteen” and there was even an edible version of me sitting on top of the cake. I just get everywhere don’t I!!

Green Canteen
Posted on 9:42am Friday 12th August 2011
In October we will be launching the Green Canteen, a horticultural training centre and retail trading shed on the Meriden estate. When I first heard of this I thought it was a coffee shop that was painted green and only sold green food like green tea, broccoli & stilton soup, cucumber or lettuce sandwiches – how silly I am!
