WALSH (née John) Josephine Hazel Passed away peacefully at The Limes, Bembridge during the early hours of Friday 30th September aged 90 years & 13 days. She will be greatly missed by her sons James and Jonathan, her three grandsons, granddaughter and great-granddaughter. Born in St.John’s Wood (London) and raised in Bushey/Watford, moved to Bembridge, IW in the mid-70’s. Fiercely patriotic with war time connections in the ‘Observer Corps’ (Watford) and the RAF as a PT instructor stationed at Weston Supermare. Will be locally remembered for her joke telling (inc regional accents) and 'tongue in cheek' sarcastic one liners which may have upset a few! Now resting in peace, after a full and most eventful long life. Funeral service will take place at Isle of Wight Crematorium, on Monday 10th October at 2.15pm, and all enquiries to Weaver Bros Ltd, Funeral Directors, Lane End Road, Bembridge, PO35 5UE. 01983 872598.
