THE BOROUGH OF WATFORD (HIGH STREET,WATFORD)
(PROHIBITION OF STOPPING AND WAITING EXCEPT TAXIS) ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN thatWatford Borough Council, acting as agent for Hertfordshire County Council, has made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to enable the installation of new 'no waiting at anytime' restrictions along sections of various roads in the borough and alter the designation of aloading bay in High Street, Watford.
The Orders will come into effect on 30th September 2019.
The effect of the first traffic Order will be to introduce double yellowlines along sections of Capel Road, Carlton Court, Grandfield Avenue, Lower Paddock Road, Avenue Terrace, Harris Road, Gorle Close, Hill Farm Avenue, High Road, Sheepcot Lane, BerryAvenue, NewlandsWalk, Trevellance Way, Haweswater Drive, The Brow, Louvain Way, Newhouse Crescent, Albanwood, Sheepcot Lane, Rhodes Way, Harvest End, Hare Crescent, Radlett Road and St Albans Road. The effect of the second traffic order will be to improve parking facilities for taxis by re-designating the use of the parking space outside 75 High Street, Watford. Copies may be inspected at theCustomer Service Centre of Watford Borough Council, Town Hall, Watford, WD17 3EX, Monday to Friday during normal office hours from 13th September 2019, alternatively they can be viewed on the Council'swebsite

Anyperson wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or of anyofthe provisions contained in them, on the grounds thatthey are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds thatany requirement of the Act or anyinstrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
