THE HERTSMERE BOROUGH COUNCIL (CROSS ROAD, BUSHEY) (RESDDENTS PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hertsmere Borough Council (pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 and the Local Government (Arrangements for Discharge of Functions) (England) Regulations 2000) proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce resident permit parking to improve road safety, reduce instances of inappropriate or inconsiderate parking and increase the available provision of resident parking places.

SCHEDULE

Lengths of road designated as Parking Places Resident Permit Holder (Zone CR) Monday to Friday 9am to 11am

Sections of Cross Road as set out in the Order and shown on the plan(s) to that Order.

Eligible addresses for Permits

Cross Road, Bushey -Nos 13 to 31 (odd); No. 37; Nos 34 to 62 (even)

Allocation of Permits and Charges

Resident Permits - Maximum 4 per property permit = £25, 2nd permit = £40, 3rd permit =

-1st = £70,

4th permit = £100.

Visitors Parking Permits - £5 per book of 20 visitors permits

Visitors Annual Permits - £40 per year

Documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposals are held on deposit at the Central Reception, Hertsmere Borough Council, Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood WD6 1WA. Due to the current COVID 19 emergency and restrictions imposed on population movement, the documents may be viewed online from 3rd July 2020 at

Objections to the proposals should be made in writing to Traffic Engineer, Parking Policy, Hertsmere Borough Council, Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, WD6 1WA 30th July 2020, quoting reference CR/BUSHEY2020 and stating the grounds on which they are made. Letters of support will also be received during this time.

Consulting on this scheme is a statutory duty of the Borough Council.
