(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ST ALBANS ROAD, SOUTH MIMMS) ORDER 2021
NOTICE Is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of St Albans Road, South Mimms from its junction with Greyhound Lane south eastwards to its junction with the Swanland Road roundabout ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 162m. An alternative route will be via St Albans Road, B556 Cecil Road, Warrengate Lane and Swanland Road or via St Albans Road, Bignells Comer, A1081 St Albans Road, Dancers Hill Road, Baker Street, BSS6 (Mutton Lane/Cecil Road) and St Albans Road. The Order is needed because bridge repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 6 February 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
