(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD AND OXHEY HALL) ORDER 2021
NOTICE Is given that Hertfordshire County Council Intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Gladstone Road, Watford from its junction with Queens Place south eastwards to its junction with Stanley Road, a distance of approximately 314m.
An alternative route will be via Queens Place, Queens Road, Woodford Road, Station Road, A412 St Albans Road, A411 Beechen Grove, Derby Road, Grosvenor Road and Stanley Road or via Stanley Road, Grosvenor Road, A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/ Beechen Grove), Loates Lanes, Lord Street, Queens Road The Broadway, Queens Road and Queens Place.
2. that length of Grosvenor Road, Watford from its junction with Gladstone Road south westwards to its junction with Derby Road, a distance of approximately 232m.
An alternative route will be via Gladstone Road, Queens Place, Queens Road, Woodford Road, Station Road, A412 St Albans Road, A411 Beechen Grove and Derby Road or via Grosvenor Road, A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), Clarendon Road, St Johns Road, Queens Road, Queens Place and Gladstone Road.
3. that length of Stanley Road, Watford from its junction with Gladstone Road south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Grosvenor Road, a distance of approximately 137m.
An alternative route will be via Gladstone Road and Grosvenor Road.
4. that length of Derby Road, Watford from its junction with A411 Beechen Grove south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Grosvenor Road, a distance of approximately 131m.
An alternative route will be via A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), Clarendon Road, St Johns Road, Queens Road, Queens Place, Gladstone Road and Grosvenor Road.
5. that length of Cross Street/Sutton Road, Watford from its junction with Estcourt Road south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
6. that length of Thorpe Crescent, Watford from its northernmost junction with A4125 Eastbury Road south eastwards, south westwards and north westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
7. that length of Colne Avenue, Watford from its junction with Riverside Road south eastwards to its junction with A4125 Eastbury Road, a distance of approximately 374m.
An alternative route will be via Riverside Road, Blackwell Drive and A4125 Eastbury Road.
8. that length of Woodwaye, Oxhey Hall/Watford from its junction with Green Lane north westwards to its junction with A4125 Eastbury Road, a distance of approximately 563m.
An alternative route will be via Green Lane, Oxhey Road and A4125 Eastbury Road.
9. that length of Sherwoods Road, Watford from its junction with Bucks Avenue south westwards to its junction with A4008 Pinner Road, a distance of approximately 259m.
An alternative route will be via Bucks Avenue and A4008 Pinner Road.
10. that length of Elm Avenue, Watford from its junction with Sherwoods Road south eastwards and north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
11. that length of Benskin Road, Watford from its junction with A4145 Hagden Lane north eastwards to its junction with Harwoods Road, a distance of approximately 280m.
An alternative route will be via A4145 Hagden Lane, Holywell Road and Harwoods Road.
12. that length of Euston Avenue, Watford from its junction with A4145 Hagden Lane north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
13. that length of Belgrave Avenue, Watford from its junction with A4145 Hagden Lane north eastwards to its junction with Queens Avenue, a distance of approximately 231 m.
An alternative route will be via A4145 Hagden Lane and Queens Avenue.
14. that length of Kelmscott Crescent, Watford from its westernmost junction with A4145 Hagden Lane south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 248m.
An alternative route will be via A4145 Hagden Lane.
15. that length of Kelmscott Close, Watford from its junction with Kelmscott Crescent south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
16. that length of St James Road, Watford from its junction with A4178 Farraline Road south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Cardiff  Road, a distance of approximately 390m.
An alternative route will be via A4178 (Farraline Road/Fearnley Street/The Hornets/Merton Road/Wiggenhall Road) and Cardiff Road.
17. that length of Chester Road, Watford from its junction with Addiscombe Road south westwards to its junction with Queens Avenue, a distance of approximately 747m.
An alternative route will be via Addiscombe Road, Feamley Street, A4178 (The Hornets/ Merton Road/Cassio Road), Whippendell Road and Queens Avenue.
18. that length of Holywell Road, Watford from its junction with A4145 Hagden Lane north eastwards to its junction with Harwoods Road, a distance of approximately 244m.
An alternative route will be via A4145 (Hagden Lane/vicarage Road) and Harwoods Road.
19. that length of Ashby Road, Watford from its junction with Gammons Lane south westwards to its junction with Sussex Road, a distance of approximately 215m.
An alternative route will be via Gammons Lane, Brighton Road and Sussex Road.
20. that length of Sussex Road, Watford from its junction with Diamond Road north westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
21. that length of Dell Road, Watford from its junction with The Harebreaks south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Gammons Lane, a distance of approximately 204m.
An alternative route will be via The Harebreaks, Elm Grove and Gammons Lane.
22. that length of Chestnut Walk, Watford from its junction with Woodside south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with The Harebreaks, a distance of approximately 267m.
An alternative route will be via Woodside and The Harebreaks.
23. that length of Elm Grove, Watford from its junction with Gammons Lane north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with The Harebreaks, a distance of approximately 231m.
An alternative route will be via Gammons Lane, Dell Road and The Harebreaks.
24. that length of Beech Road, Watford from its junction with Chestnut Walk south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Fuller Road, a distance of approximately 186m.
An alternative route will be via Chestnut Walk and Fuller Road.
25. that length of Woodside, Watford from its junction with The Harebreaks north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Chestnut Walk, a distance of approximately 332m.
An alternative route will be via The Harebreaks and Chestnut Walk.
26. that length of Middle Way, Watford from its junction with The Harebreaks north eastwards to its junction with Beechwood Rise, a distance of approximately 248m.
An alternative route will be via The Harebreaks, Longspring and Beechwood Rise.
27. that length of Cherry Tree Road, Watford from its junction with Beechwood Rise north eastwards to its junction with Berry Avenue, a distance of approximately 255m.
An alternative route will be via Beechwood Rise, Hazel Tree Road, Leggatts Wood Avenue, Ash Tree Road and Berry Avenue.
28. that length of Oakdene Road, Watford from its junction with Cherry Tree Road south eastwards to its junction with Hazel Tree Road, a distance of approximately 308m.
An alternative route will be via Cherry Tree Road, Beechwood Rise and Hazel Tree Road.
The Order is needed because highway drainage and deep cleaning works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 February 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SANDY LANE, BUSHEY AND OTTERSPO0L WAY, WATFORD/BUSHEY) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Sandy Lane, Bushey from its junction with Hillfield Lane south westwards to its junction with A41 Elton Way, a distance of approximately 429m.
An alternative route will be via Hillfield Lane, B462 Hartspring Lane and A41 Elton Way.
2. that length of Otterspool Way, Watford/Bushey from its junction with Park Avenue northwards and north westwards to its junction with Berry Grove Lane, a distance of approximately 1167m.
An alternative route will be via Park Avenue, Bushey Mill Lane and Berry Grove Lane. The Order is needed because bee maintenance works are proposed to be executed near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 February 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN LOUDWATER LANE, LOUDWATER) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Loudwater Lane, Loudwater from its junction with A404 Chorieywood Road north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Sarratt Lane ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 1027m. An alternative route will be viaA404 Chorieywood Road,A412 (Park Road/Scots Hill), The Green and Loudwater Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because drainage inspection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 February 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON CALIFORNIA LANE, BUSHEY HEATH) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of road ("the lengths of Road") will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of California Lane, Bushey Heath from its junction with Hartsboume Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 132m.
An alternative route will be via Hartsbourne Road, A4140 High Road and California Lane.
2. The existing one way traffic system on that length of California Lane, Bushey Heath from its junction with Hartsboume Road north westwards to its junction with Florida Close, a distance of approximately 109m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because utility service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the lengths of Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 February 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the lengths of Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF RUTHERFORD WAY, BUSHEY HEATH) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Rutherford Way, Bushey Heath from a point 155m north east of its junction with The Rutts north eastwards for its entire length ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Rutherford Way, The Rutts, A4140 High Road, Windmill Lane and Trundlers Way.
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 February 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROWLEY LANE, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Rowley Lane, Borehamwood from its junction with the Studio Way roundabout south eastwards to its junction with York Crescent ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 390m.
An alternative route will be via Rowley Lane, Well End Road, Silver Hill, London Road, 85378 (Woodhall Lane/Green Street/Cowley Hill/Shenley Road), A5135 Elstree Way and Rowley Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 February 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WOODCOCK HILL, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Woodcock Hill, Rickmansworth from its junction with Harefield Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 831 m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Harefield Road, Rickmansworth Road, Breakspear Road North, Northwood Road and Shrubs Road.
The Order is needed because fibre optic installation works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 23 February 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SUMMERHOUSE LANE, ALDENHAM) ORDER 2021
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Summerhouse Lane, Aldenham from a point 59m north east of its junction with Hilfield Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 60m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Summerhouse Lane, Hilfield Lane, B462 Radlett Road, Primrose Lane and Summerhouse Lane.
The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 February 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SARRATT ROAD, SARRATT) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sarratt Road, Sarratt from a point 50m south west of its junction with Dimmocks Lane south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 300m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Sarratt Road, Dimmocks Lane, The Green, Poles Hill, Dunny Lane, The Street, The Common, Bucks Hill, Toms Hill, Chandlers Lane, Redhall Lane and Sarratt Road.
The Order is needed because customer connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 9 February 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, WATFORD) (20 MPH ZONE) (N0.2) ORDER 2020

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce a 20mph speed limit zone in part of Watford as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The Order will come into effect on Monday 1 March 2021.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are held on deposit from 5 February 2021 to 18 March 2021 at Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford.
