THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET (GRAHAME PARK REGENERATION AREA) COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER NO. 2 2022 SECTION 226(1)(a) OF THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 ACQUISITION OF LAND ACT 1981 COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND
AT GRAHAME PARK IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET


Notice is hereby given that on the 12 May 2022 the London Borough of Barnet made the London Borough of Barnet (Grahame Park Regeneration Area) Compulsory Purchase Order No. 2 2022 (the "Order") under section 226(1)(a) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the Acquisition of Land Act 1981. It is about to submit this Order to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities for confirmation, and if confirmed, the Order will authorise the London Borough of Barnet to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of facilitating the carrying out of development, redevelopment or improvement on or in relation to the land through the provision of residential dwellings, flexible non-residential floorspace (including replacement community facilities) and public realm and open space improvements.
A copy of the Order (including the schedule and the accompanying map referred to therein) has been deposited and may be viewed on the London Borough of Barnet's website at https://www.barnet.gov.uk/grahamepark and during normal working hours at the following locations:
(i) Reception, Hendon Town Hall, The Burroughs, London, NW4 4BQ
(ii) Reception, London Borough of Barnet, 2 Bristol Avenue, London NW9 4EW
Any objection to the Order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities at the Planning Casework Unit, Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, 23 Stephenson Street, Birmingham, B2 4BH (pcu@levellingup.gov.uk) no later than 23 June 2022 and should state the title of the Order, the grounds of objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.
