AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20**


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
As part of in-process and completed public highway adoptions in the borough and on-going regeneration development works it is considered that certain lengths of public highway should be kept clear of parked vehicles to ensure motorists and pedestrian safety, prevent obstructive parking, and allow adequate traffic flow. The general effect of the above Orders would be to introduce new or formalise existing waiting restrictions as follows:
(a) In order to accommodate the introduction of a 'dropped kerb' vehicle crossover to enable access to off-street parking facilities, the general effect of the Orders would be to formalise the removal of length of existing shared use Paybyphone payment parking/ resident permit holder only parking spaces operating 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday situated on the south west of No.1 Woodside Avenue N12 and replace with a length of waiting restriction approximately in 5 metres in length operating 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.
Avondale Avenue N12
As part of in-process and completed public highway adoptions in the borough and on-going regeneration development works and in order to help improve the parking provision for residents on Avondale Avenue N12, the general effect of the orders would be to convert lengths of existing waiting restrictions operating 2pm to 3pm Monday to Friday to lengths of resident permit holders only parking spaces operating 2pm to 3pm Monday to Friday opposite No.2 and No.2a Avondale Avenue N12.
A copy of the proposed Orders, associated plans of the relevant areas and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing parking. consultations@barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 6th Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW. Any person wishing to object to or comment on the proposed Order should send a written statement explaining their objection/ comments, and quoting reference number SCR379, to the Design Team, 6th Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London, NW9 4EW, via the Barnet TraffWeb website or via email to parking.consultations@barnet.gov.uk within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
