ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATHS BUSHEY 6,7 & 14
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using those lengths of Footpaths Bushey 6,7 & 14, from Hilfield Lane to M1 and Hilfield Lane to the Mobile Home Park, for approximate distances of 165,60 and 100 metres. Alternative Route: No appropriate alternative route The purpose of the Order is to enable development works to take place. These sections of Footpaths Bushey 6, 7 & 14 will be closed on or after 30th January 2017 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS AND PUBLIC FOOTPATHS IN WATFORD, LANGLEYBURY, CHANDLERS CROSS,
SARRATT AND ABBOTS LANGLEY DURING THE
'WATFORD HALF MARATHON') ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic and pedestrians from using the following lengths of roads and public footpaths,
except for access:-
1. that length of Parkside Drive, Watford from its junction with Cassiobury Drive north westwards to its junction with Langley Way, a distance of approximately 1100 metres.

2. that length of Cassiobury Drive, Watford from its junction with Parkside Drive north westwards and northwards for its entire length.

3. the Cassiobury Drive/Langley Way roundabout, Watford from its southernmost junction with Cassiobury Drive clockwise for its entire length.

4. that length of Langley Way, Watford from its junction with Parkside Drive north eastwards to its junction with Bellmount Wood Avenue, a distance of approximately 220 metres.

5. that length of Bellmount Wood Avenue, Watford from its junction with Langley Way north westwards, northwards and north eastwards to its junction with Cassiobury Drive, a distance of approximately 440 metres.

6. that length of Glen Way, Watford from its junction with Stanbury Avenue

southwards for its entire length.
7. that length of Stanbury Avenue, Watford from its junction with Glen Way north westwards to its junction with BeechparkWay, a distance of

approximately 250 metres.
8. that length of BeechparkWay, Watford from its junction with Stanbury Avenue north westwards to its junction with Grove Mill Lane, a distance of approximately 145 metres.

9. that length of Grove Mill Lane, Watford from its junction with Beechpark

Way south westwards, westwards and northwards to its junction with
Fir Tree Hill, a distance of approximately 1900 metres.
10. that length of Langleybury Lane, Langleybury from its junction with FirTree Hill north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Old House Lane, a distance of approximately 1130 metres.

11. that length of FirTree Hill, Chandlers Cross from its junction with Langleybury Lane south westwards, southwards and south westwards

to its junction with Redhall Lane, a distance of approximately 1192 metres.
12. that length of Redhall Lane, Chandlers Cross from its junction with FirTree Hill westwards to its junction with Chandlers Lane, a distance of

approximately 55 metres.
13. that length of Chandlers Lane, Chandlers Cross from its junction with Redhall Lane north westwards to its junction with Toms Hill, a distance of approximately 850 metres.

14. that length of Toms Hill, Chandlers Cross from its junction with Chandlers

Lane north westwards to its junction with Bucks Hill, a distance of approximately 330 metres.
15. that length of DeadmansAsh Lane, Sarrattfrom its junction with Bottom Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 280 metres.

16. that length of Bottom Lane, Sarratt from its junction with Deadmans Ash Lane north westwards and westwards to its easternmost junction with Commonwood, a distance of approximately 310 metres.

17. that length of Commonwood, Sarratt from its easternmost junction with Bottom Lane northwards to its junction with Quickmoor Lane, a distance of approximately 720 metres.

18. that length of Quickmoor Lane, Sarratt from its junction with Commonwood eastwards to its junction with Bucks Hill, a distance of approximately

484 metres.
19. that length of Bucks Hill, Sarrattfrom its junction with Quickmoor Lane

southwards and south eastwards to its junction with Old House Lane,
a distance of approximately 1380 metres.
20. that length of Old House Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with Bucks Hill north eastwards and eastwards to its junction with Langleybury Lane, a distance of approximately 1700 metres.

21. that length of Watford Borough Footpath No.72from its junction with Cassiobury Drive northwards to its junction with Glen Way, a distance of approximately 166 metres.

22. that length of Sarratt Public Footpath No.13 from its junction with the eastern access road leading to 'Newell Farm' north westwards, westwards and north westwards to its junction with Deadmans Ash Lane, a distance of approximately 1200 metres.

There are no alternative routes available for vehicles for the duration of the event. However vehicular access to properties in these roads will be maintained
whenever possible.
The lengths of roads will be closed between the hours of 10.30am and 1.30pm on Sunday 5 February 2017, when signs are in place.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure public safety and prevent accidents for the duration of the 'Watford Half Marathon'.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-
1. that length of High Street, Watford from its junction with King Street north westwards to its junction with Market Street, a distance of approximately

245 metres.
An alternative route will be via King Street, A411 (Exchange Road/Beechen
Grove), Clarendon Road and High Street.
2. that length of Wellington Road, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road south eastwards to its junction with Westland Road, a distance of approximately 129 metres.

An alternative eastbound route will be via A412 St Albans Road, St Johns Road
and Westland Road
An alternative westbound route will be via Westland Road, Station Road and A412 St Albans Road.
3. that length of Monmouth Road, Watford from its junction with Albert Road North south eastwards and southwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
4. that length of Canterbury Road, Watford from its junction with Westland Road north westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
5. that length of Franklin Road, Watford from its junction with St Johns Road

north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
6. that length of Albert Road North, Watford from its junction with

St Johns Road south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being
carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be
maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because water main connection and replacement works
are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 16 January 2017 for
a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take
effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford
between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and
public holidays).

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING
RESTRICTIONS IN WESTFIELD AVENUE, WATFORD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14[1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Westfield Avenue, Watford from its junction with
Southfield Avenue south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with
Balmoral Road ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 725 metres, except for access.
An alternative route will be via Southfield Avenue and Balmoral Road. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near
the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 February 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends,
bank and public holidays).
