THE BOROUGH OF WATFORD (BUSHEY ARCHES, WATFORD) (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2016 (AMENDMENT) (N0.1) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Watford Borough Council, acting as agent for Hertfordshire County Council, in order to improve parking availability for local residents has made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Watford Borough Council, acting as agent for Hertfordshire County Council, in order to improve parking availability for local residents has made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The general effect of the Order will be to formalise the reallocation of parking bays and the extension of the permit eligibility boundary as defined by the previous Order. 5 of the parking bays which were originally designated as parking bays for short stay parking with hours of operation Mondays to Saturdays 8am to 6:30pm, maximum stay of 2hrs and no return within 4hrs have been designated as Permit Holder bays with hours of operation Mondays to Saturdays 8am to 6:30pm. Permit eligibility has also been extended to residents of Ye Corner, Attenborough Court and of 9 -35 Aldenham Road. These proposals are aimed at maximising the use of the parking bays within the car park.

A copy of the Order which comes into operation on 20th March 2017 may be examined during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Customer Service Centre, Town Hall, Watford, WD17 3EX. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any of the provisions contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
