ARMED police stopped a car and arrested three men inside in connection with armed robberies.
The officers also found a gun in The Rutts, Bushey, at around 7.30pm on Tuesday.
They were arrested in connection with seven armed robberies on bookmakers across Hertfordshire and London.
As well as the gun, stolen cash was also found in the car.
They took place between November 22 and 28 in Bushey, Harrow, Pinner, Finchley, and Kingsbury. On each occasion staff were threatened with a firearm, but a shot was never fired.
The three men, aged 22, 38, and 40, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
A fourth man, 21, was arrested shortly after at an address on Montrose Road in Harrow on suspicion of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
All four men remain in custody.
