A murder mystery will be performed live at a fine-dining restaurant in Wembley Park.

Performed within Troubadour Wembley Park’s fine-dining restaurant Studio 5ive, Waiter, There’s a Murder in my Soup! is a comedy murder mystery dining experience – there will be lots of laughs, fabulous food and just a hint of homicide.

It’s 1946, and the grand opening night of a performance by venerated prima donna the Marchioness du Jour.

You are cordially invited along with the socialites, dignitaries and cultural bigwigs of the age to hear her sing. But all is not as it seems. When a chilling murder is discovered, the lavish soiree quickly becomes a crime scene.

Over the course of dinner, renowned detective Susan Gusset and her fellow diners must race against time to unmask a killer. Don your finest 1940s glad rags and join Detective Susan Gusset for a three-course meal and a healthy serving of crime.

Fat Rascal have quickly established themselves as a home for new British comedy and musical theatre, having produced six new shows in the last three years. They are a company which pride themselves on championing female and LGBTQ+ creatives whilst creating work which is full of big belly laughs and empowering messages.

After winning the Otherplace/Balkan Award at Brighton Fringe, VAULT Festival’s Spirit Award and the Stella Wilkie Award from The King’s Head Theatre, they were nominated for the Les Enfants Terribles Award in 2016 and 2017 and garnered an Off-West End Award.

Much of the show is shrouded in mystery but menu highlights have been revealed with starters including heritage beetroot, lambs lettuce hazelnuts and goat’s curd. For the main event, tuck into braised beef cheek, heritage carrots with parsley puree. Desserts to follow include Studio 5ive’s classic bread and butter pudding.
