Boy band fever hit Watford 19 years ago this month when one of the biggest acts of the early noughties came to town.
Busted were greeted by dozens of fans when they held a signing session at the Virgin store in the Harlequin Centre on April 23, 2003.
Having seen their second single Year 3000 peak at No.2 in the UK charts earlier that year, James Bourne, Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson were heading for the peak of the popularity with their college rock sound as You Said No gave the trio their first No. 1 in May.
Our archive pictures suggest Matt was unable to join his two band-mates in Watford that afternoon, but Charlie and James still proved to be a big hit among their fans.
