We have again dipped into the Watford Observer’s online archive and today start a look back at some pictures captured by our photographers in 1994.
It was a year when bulldozers were busy in the town centre, demolishing a popular music shop and a college.
TV celebrity Mr Motivator held a class in the Harlequin and the shopping centre was also visited by Doctor Who’s greatest enemies.

We also look back at a town centre pub, while a popular bank performed at the Colosseum.
