Panto season is not, as it turns out, behind you. The Kings Langley Players annual pantomime opens January 12 for three nights at the community centre.
Mother Goose is set in a faraway frozen fairytale land in this production, with a Scandinavian feel where we meet the unforgettable heroine of the story, her daughter Freya, and their family pet, Heidi the Goose.
These three must work hard to outwit the scheming Baron Von Rumpensmakka. However things go terribly wrong when Mother Goose tempted by the bog of beauty and the promise of glamorous youth, signs over Heidi to the slimy and potential goose-eating troll Smorg.
Director Sally-Ann Rafferty brings the frosty world of snowmen, sleigh-bells and even the occasional moose to the production, alongside song and dance from the cast.
Kings Langley Community Centre, WD4 8ET, Thursday, January 12 until Saturday, January 14. Details: klp.org.uk
