The principal of Westfield Community Technology College is to step down when term ends on Friday (December 21).
Emma Aylesbury has been principal at the Tolpits Lane school for the last five years but leaves to pursue "new opportunities in the education sector", Paul Rosen, the chairman of governors, has said.
He added: "As chair of governors I would like to thank Emma for all her hard work at Westfield and wish her the very best for the future."
The current senior vice principal Tim Body will take over as principal from January.
