Santa stops off at the Green Canteen
Residents turned out in festive Christmas spirit to the Meriden family Christmas fayre on Saturday.
Hosted at the Green Canteen horticultural centre site on Garsmouth Way, Father Christmas gave guided tours of the horticultural facilities to residents, who browsed craft stalls for bargains, participated in wreath-making workshops and enjoyed the Christmas tree and decorations.
The event was part of an initiative to raise the profile of the horticultural training centre.
