Older and disabled residents across Three Rivers can now receive meals on wheels seven days a week.
Following a successful trial in Abbots Langley the service will be rolled out to all the district’s residents rather than just Monday to Friday.
The new service along with an optional cold tea service will be offered to residents from April 1.
Three Rivers’ cabinet member for leisure and community, Keith Williams, said: "Meals on wheels are a vital service for many elderly and disabled people. Services in all parts of Three Rivers have been greatly valued by their customers."
"I’m delighted that the meals on wheels service will be improved - offering all residents a seven day a week service for hot lunches and cold teas."
