A Watford junior school held a week of art in order to encourage new creative talents in its pupils.
Parkgate Junior School in Southwold Road held the festival this week, which included lessons from local artists, a fashion show, and the gift of a signed Rolf Harris photo.
Bryony Reeves, a year four teacher and art co-ordinator, said: "This is something very different to what local schools have done before.
"I think it would be great to share our achievements with the local community as so many people within our local community have got involved."
Next Friday the school will hold an exhibition to sell artwork produced by pupils to parents and friends.
