More than 50 children participated in some spooky goings on at the King George Recreation Ground in Bushey on Sunday as families gathered for a Halloween trail and fancy dress competition.
Organised by the Friends of King George Recreation Ground and supported by Hertsmere Leisure, a fancy dress competition followed the trail.
Hertsmere Borough Councillor Linda Silver gave out the awards for fancy dress, with 12 children winning prizes for their Dracula, ghost and pirate costumes.
Rob Dodkin, Hertsmere Leisure’s Projects Co-ordinator, said: "Despite the windy horrible weather we experienced this weekend, lots of families came along to the trail and had a fantastic time. Our thanks go to the King George Friends Group and volunteers for braving the winds and Councillor Linda Silver for attending."
