A flood warning is still in place for the River Colne in Watford and Bushey.

The Environmental Agency said levels on the River Colne in Watford reached their peak early Saturday morning, and was the second highest on record, with only October 2000 being higher.

In a statement it said: "River levels remain highly sensitive to any further significant rainfall as the catchment is saturated. "Standing water is likely to remain for a couple of days. The forecast is mainly dry for Monday with some blustery showers. Some further unsettled weather is forecast for this week. We will continue to monitor the situation."

The warning was first issued at 11.35am on Friday.
