Hundreds of children and families embraced the festive spirit at the Laurance Haines Primary School Christmas Fair this weekend, raising nearly £1,500.
The funds will be used to buy birthday books for year one pupils, benches for the school playground, table tennis and other items that will enhance school life for its pupils.
Christine Armstrong, one of the organisers, said: "It was a big success, we are very chuffed with how it went. We raised a total of £1,417 from the day."
