Thugs jumped on to the roof of a car and caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage in a “mindless act” of criminal damage.

Two men, believed to be in their twenties, climbed on to the boot and then the roof of a blue BMW parked in the driveway of a house in Hampermill Lane, Oxhey Hall, at 5.30am on March 31.

Police said the men jumped on the vehicle causing ‘hundreds of pounds worth of damage’ before they headed towards Northwood.

Sergeant Luke Mitchell said: “This mindless act has left the owner of the car with a large bill.

“I would ask anyone who believes they know who is responsible, saw anyone in the area at the time of the incident or has any other information in relation to this to contact me as soon as possible.”
