THE Sea Cadets and Peace Hospice Care each received a share of the £2,000 raised by Croxley Green Parish Council during the past 12 months.
Events held during the year included the Dog Show and the Wassail, both in Stones Orchard, Croxfest and a Barn Dance.
Chairman of the Parish Council, Councillor Chris Mitchell, who handed out the money raised on Thursday morning, said: "I would like to thank all of you who attended the events in Croxley Green over the year who have so generously given money to our chosen charities."
The cheques were presented to Fabian Hiscock from the Sea Cadets and Charlotte Harrison-Webb from Peace Hospice Care.
