A donation of £1,000 has been presented to the Watford African Caribbean Association to help improve the health and well-being of over 50s.
Craig Lambourne, customer services manager at Tesco, presented the cheque at their flagship store in Watford.
Watford African Caribbean Association Trustee Benson Obasogie said: "Since 1976, the Watford African Caribbean Association has been committed to improving the health and well-being of the community. This generous Tesco Community Award is most welcome and will help us invest in equipment and deliver chair-based exercise, Pilates, Yoga and Tai-Chi to the older generation."
Olga Payne, 86, thanked Tesco for their support. She said: "Exercise is good for my joints, mobility, flexibility and it makes me happy. I feel lost without it."
