Tuesday, June 28

Lance David Usher, 37, of Altham Gardens, Watford. On May 24, 2016, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe that immediate violence would be used against them. Two counts. Committed to prison for 10 weeks suspended for 12 months. Participate in Thinking Skills programme for 19 days. Carry out unpaid work for 150 hours within the next 12 months. Restraining order made. Andris Berzins, 35, of Vicarage Road, Watford. On June 12, 2016, had with him an article for use in connection with theft, namely pliers. On same date, stole items belonging to Sports Direct. On June 11, 2016, stole items belonging to Clas Ohlson. Community order made. Participate in Thinking Skills programme for 19 days. Carry out unpaid work for 60 hours within the next 12 months. Compensation, costs: £296.95.

Britt Toni Pfeiffer, 48, of The Pelhams, Garston. On June 10, 2016, used a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 79 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Disqualified from driving for 40 months. Fine, costs: £235.

Daniel Paul Tadman, 23, of Oak Green, Abbots Langley. On June 10, 2016, failed to cooperate with a preliminary test in pursuance of a requirement under the Road Traffic Act. On same date, wilfully obstructed a police constable in the execution of his duty. Fine, costs: £385. Four penalty points.

Roger Lynton Cattell, 62, of Trout Rise, Loudwater, Rickmansworth. On December 3, 2015, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 40mph. Fine, costs: £671. Four penalty points.

Debra Dian Crook, 54, of Weall Green, Watford. On December 3, 2015, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 60mph. Fine, costs: £399. Three penalty points.

Robert J Handyside, 69, of Kimble Crescent, Bushey. On December 7, 2015, being the driver of a vehicle failed to comply with the indication given by a red light traffic signal. Fine, costs: £327. Three penalty points.

Michael Roger Keegan, 41, of Escort Road, Watford. On December 2, 2015, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 30mph. Fine, costs: £418. Three penalty points.

David Benstead, 50, of Fairhaven Crescent, Watford. On May 16, 2016, stole hair straighteners belonging to Boots. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Costs: £105.

James Christopher Todd, 62, of Barnes Lane, Kings Langley. On August 2, 2015, used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour and the offence was racially aggravated. On same date, used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour. Fine, costs: £1,100.

Charlie Sam Culora, 51, of Derby Road, Watford. On June 25, 2016, contacted a person which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order. Order varied. Fine, costs: £525.

Jack Wayne Merrix, 26, of Edson Close, Watford. On October 20, 2015, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 60mph. Fine, costs: £205. Three penalty points.

Mark Christopher Hall, 27, of Whippendell Road, Watford. On June 4, 2016, assaulted a police constable in the execution of his duty. Two counts. On same date, damaged a police vehicle. Community order made. Have treatment for alcohol dependency for nine months. Compensation: £200.
