A drug dealer from Abbots Langley has been jailed for more than two years.

Daniel Dady, 37, was sentenced at St Albans Crown Court on Monday after pleading guilty to two charges of supplying class A drugs and two charges of possession with intent to supply.

He was also found guilty of one charge of possession of criminal property and was jailed for 28 months.

Police spotted Dady, of The Fairway, dealing drugs from his car on June 27.

Two wraps of cocaine were found inside the vehicle and when his home was searched, a further 123 wraps were discovered.

Large sums of money were also found and on July 21, St Albans Crown Court seized £6,428.

PC Paul Goble, the investigating officer, said: “We are committed to tackling drug crime and I hope this sentence sends out a strong message that drug dealing will not be tolerated in Abbots Langley or anywhere in Hertfordshire.

“I would like to urge the local community to report any concerns they may have around drug crime to allow us to build intelligence that we can act on.”
