A man has been rushed to hospital with suspected head injuries after being kicked by a horse.
The East of England Ambulance Service was called at 11.40am today (Thursday) to Munden, near Watford.
An ambulance crew, ambulance officer, rapid response vehicle and air ambulance from Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was taken by land ambulance to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington with a suspected “serious head injury”.
His condition is not believed to be life threatening.
