Detectives are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a distinctive watch stolen during a burglary in Watford.
The men’s silver Hugo Boss Admiral watch was taken from a property in Meadow Road between 9am on Saturday, September 30, and 12.40pm on Sunday, October 1, along with items of gold jewellery.
The watch has the words “love always Priya” engraved on the back.
Detective Constable Tanzeem Siddiqui from Watford Local Crime Unit said: “The victims have been left very upset by what has happened as the items taken were of sentimental value.
“The watch in particular is highly distinctive due to the engraving on the back, and I am asking anyone who thinks they may have come across it to please get in touch.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around the times stated. Any information could assist our enquiries.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Watford Local Crime Unit via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference C4/17/2906.
