The fatality occurred near Harrow and Wealdstone station
Services between Watford Junction and Euston were either cancelled or severely delayed yesterday evening after a person was hit by a train.
The casualty died after they were struck by a train at Harrow and Wealdstone station at around 4pm.
British Transport Police officers were called to the station shortly before 4.45pm and attended alongside paramedics.
They are now working to identify the person and inform their family.
The person’s death is not currently being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
