Watford band Rak-Su won the X Factor final.

The hip-hop group beat Grace Davies in the final of the ITV singing competition last night.

ITV figures suggest they received 51.7 per cent of the vote.

The band - Myles, Ashley, Jamal and Mustafa - thanked viewers for voting for them and their families.

Mentor and the show's founder Simon Cowell hailed them as "stars".

They are the first boy band - although they call themselves a man band - to win the show.

They made it through to the finals after singing two original songs - Mamacita and Dimelo.

Proceeds from their new single Dimelo will go to children's hospice charities Together For Short Lives and Shooting Star Chase.

The band were singled out as potential winners of the competition following their audition, where they were praised by viewers for their original music.

They have already experienced success, with a number of their tracks reaching number one in the iTunes chart.
